TEI ETHICS MANAGEMENT MATURITY ASSESSMENT

TEI invites you to complete a complimentary self-assessment using a condensed version of our Ethics Management Maturity Assessment (EMMA) instrument.

Important information about this self-assessment:

This self-assessment is designed to provide an indicative overview of your organisation’s ethics management maturity.
Upon completion, an automated report will be generated based solely on your responses. Please note that The Ethics Institute (TEI) cannot verify the accuracy of self-reported information. To have a verified, independent assessment conducted, contact TEI at info@tei.org.za.
While we collect certain personal details for administrative purposes, all responses and results remain strictly confidential. TEI will not disclose your individual results under any circumstances.
TEI may, in the future, utilise only anonymised data from this instrument for research purposes.
All versions of the EMMA instrument, including this abridged version, are the intellectual property of TEI and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission. Use of this self-assessment is permitted for individual, non-commercial purposes.

Instructions

As you do the assessment, indicate to what extent (to the best of your knowledge) your organisation complies with the indicators provided.

You will have to answer using the following scale, rating your organisation at either 0, 25, 50, 75 or 100:

Full compliance.

All required elements are fully established and effectively implemented

Good compliance.

Most key elements are in place and functioning effectively, with minor areas for improvement

Moderate compliance.

Some foundational elements are present, but several key areas require development or strengthening

Weak compliance.

Minimal progress has been made, with only a few elements in place

No compliance.

No relevant elements currently in place

In other words, if you think your organisation fully meets the criteria, you should assign a score of 100.
